With Other Users

Matched Users: Your profile, including photos and select information, is shared with users you are matched with to facilitate meaningful connections. Your precise location is never shared directly with other users.

With Masajid Partners

To support respectful, community-based matchmaking specifically with the inpairs Masjid service, your masjid or partner masajid may access specific information as follows:

Information Shared:

• Verification and Demographics: Masajid may receive limited profile information, such as your name, age, gender, religious affiliation, demographic details, and verification status, to facilitate local matchmaking services.
• Contact Information: Initially, partner masajid will have access to your contact information (e.g., email address, phone number) and match preferences to assist in the matchmaking process.

User Control Over Data Sharing:

• Account Settings: You have the ability to control what information is shared with your local masjid and other partner masajid. Through your account settings on the app or website, you can choose which types of information you wish to share or restrict.
• Limit or Expand Access: You can limit the information visible to masajid or allow broader access to enhance matchmaking opportunities.
• Opt-Out: You may opt out of sharing certain types of information with masajid partners at any time.

Purpose of Sharing:

• Matchmaking Services: The information is shared solely to facilitate matchmaking services that align with your preferences and community connections.
• Verification: Sharing your information helps verify your identity and affiliation with a masjid, enhancing trust and safety within the platform.

Administrative Access:

• Limited Access: Masajid administrators may have limited administrative access, such as the ability to block users who violate community guidelines.
• Privacy Protections: Masajid administrators cannot access any private communications or chat messages, as InPairs does not offer in-app messaging.

Data Protection Agreements:

Confidentiality: All masajid partners are bound by confidentiality agreements to protect your information and comply with applicable privacy laws.

Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party providers who assist us in maintaining and improving InPairs:

• Third-Party Service Providers: We engage service providers for data hosting, analytics, payment processing, verification, and customer support. These providers access data only as necessary to perform tasks on our behalf, and all are bound by confidentiality agreements to protect your information.
• Potential Background Checks: To enhance community safety, we may introduce background checks through third-party providers as part of our verification process. If this practice is implemented, it will adhere to the same strict privacy standards.
